For now (this is only a test):
0. Make sure that noting is connected to the pink, black, and white wires at switch box 1.
At switch box 2:
1. Connect the the 2466 red wire to the red wire that was in the hole marked common (see tip, below).
2. Connect the 2466 white wire to the bundle of white wires.
3. Connect the 2466 black wire to the bundle of black wires.
4. Disregard the pink and white wires that are already connected to the 3-way switch.
Does the 2466 control the light?
Tip: there will be a small slot next to each hole in the 3-way switch. If you push a small screwdriver into the slot, then you will be able to pull the wire out.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018. Choice 1--both switches control the light
At switch box 2:
Connect the white wire from the 3-wire cable with pink, black and white to the bundle of white wires.
Connect the black wire from the 3-wire cable with pink, black and white to the bundle of black wires.
Cap the pink wire.
At switch box 1, white is neutral, black is line. Cap the pink wire. Install a 2nd Insteon device such as a SwitchLinc or KeypadLinc. Cap the red wire.
Link the two devices as controllers of the other device.

Choice 2-only the switch at switch box 1 controls the light
At switch box 2:
Remove the SwitchLinc.
Connect the white wire from the 3-wire cable with pink, black and white to the bundle of white wires.
Connect the black wire from the 3-wire cable with pink, black and white to the bundle of black wires.
Connect the pink wire from the 3-wire cable with pink, black and white to the red wire that was connected to the SwitchLinc.
At switch box 1, white is neutral, black is line, pink is load.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018.
