      Then is there a recommend place to recycle Insteon switches and dimmers other than a landfill?

        Actually, I do use an electronics recycling center, not available in every city. You might want to do a search. There's always eBay. BTW, a lot has transpired with Insteon devices in six years. Your gear is considered old.

          6 year old devices aren't even worth the time nor effort to try and sell. I would see if your local community has an electronics recycling center nearby as Stusviews mentioned.
