I just bought a open / close sensor 2843-222 and I would like program it so I receive an alert (email or text) when open but during a certain period each day. I notice that insteon hub 2245-222 can't do this. What software or hardware I will need to be able to schedule the sensor alert?

Any Insteon software has that ability. So does the ISY. The Hub does not. What you select depends on the type of computer you're running.
