    Try a factory reset.

Thank you for your prompt responses.

This is Indigo software for Mac.

The motion was set up thru insteon hub. See attached screen shot.

It is is not linked to anything. It sends a true on command with motion after dark. That activates a script in indigo ti turn on dog flood light with an auto off of 3 minutes.

Nothing blowig around. If you look at the entries it is broadcasting something every 60 seconds. Does insteon hub look for that.

There is is a dual band module in the garage approximately 10 feet or less away. At night the is 100% activation of the true ON by motion which thru indigo activates flood.

this is very odd. Never had this issue with motion first generation. Had other issues with that.

so with all this broadcasting my original motion 2 battery died after 2 months.

        Thanks

When you performed the factory reset, did you hold the set button down until the buzzing stopped? I know that sounds trivial but many people do factory resets improperly.

Yes, continue holding the set button until Motion Sensor stops beeping. When the reset is complete, Motion Sensor will double-beep.

Its probably a capability built in that isnt supported. UDI talks about changes and capabilities in the new sensor that they cant take advantage of yet. I'm assuming that this is probably one of those.
