    Question about the ApplianceLinc V2 #2456S3

    Hi guys,

    I have just bought some INSTEON's devices for test, recently.. Got encountered some problem, not yet cleared, about few days already.. Hope you guys can help..

    - Is the INSTEON's ApplianceLinc V2 #2456S3 have a valid INSTEON ID ( XX : XX : XX) ??
    - I'm trying to link this On/Off appliance module with my PowerLinc Modem, 2413U, with the home automation software, HL INSTEON v2.10.25. But not able to get this appliance's Insteon ID. So I couldn't on off this module throught the software..

    ps: attached with the photos of the INSTEON's ApplianceLinc V2 #2456S3 and also INSTEON PowerLinc Modem, 2413U.

    I replied to your question in the UDI forums.
    Yes it should have a six digit ID sticker on it. It most likely fell off as most of my old 2456S3 v1.3 ApplianceLincs have also lost their stickers.
    Yes the set button method should find it. I tied a test with a spare 2413S PLM and old v1.3 ApplianceLinc. In HouseLinc it worked just fine with the Set Button method.
    You may have a communications problem between the PLM and the ApplianceLincs location. Try a different location for the ApplianceLinc.
