Issue linking bulb to hub

Hi, I hope someone could help me. I'm unable to link an insteon led bulb to my hub due to the error attached in the image. I add the device then unscrew and screw in the lightbulb and the app finds it and starts trying to connect. The bulb beeps followed by the hub beeping, this happens a couple of times but then stops with the attached message. I have no issues linking to a on/off plug in module. I've tried following the instructions here http://support.insteon.com/customer/...es-through-app but they do not point to any issues for me. I've tried searching online to no avail and can't even find the error message listed in any of the manuals troubleshooting guides. A full reset of the hub has been done. Thanks

Also see attached image, it does add it but it's only listed in edit devices and shows up as null, I have no control over it
