Forgive me for being so basic as I know nada about home automation. Saw that to have true remote capabilities on a smartphone or tablet far away from home, the Insteon Hub Pro 2243-222 requires an Apple TV (well isn't that just great). But what about the Insteon Hub 2245-222...does it also require an Apple TV for far away remote control on a smartphone, etc.? Thanks in advance for any help out there.

Only the Apple enabled Hub Pro requires an Apple device. The 2245 Hub can be accessed via an Apple device (iOS), an Android device or a Windows device.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018.
